• Salary Range: $63.91 - $108.82
• Education: Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Technology Management, or related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience.
• SOC Code/Occupation: 15-1241; Computer Network Architects
• Duration: Regular Hire
• Work Week: Full-time
• Supervision Experience Required: No
• Travel: No

Experience Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer, including:

• Automation related to deployment, recovery, or manual processes
• Experience with n-tier solutions
• Resilience modeling and failure mode analysis
• Simulating service outages for solutions and platforms
• Influencing software engineering teams to translate requirements into service architecture
• Using data and metrics for decision-making
• Problem-solving through systematic procedures and root cause analysis

Alternatively, an applicant with a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience is acceptable.

Job Duties

• Collaborate with developers, testers, and program managers to design, operate, and improve large-scale computer-based services for Information Services, non-IS, and clinical caregivers.
• Advise on requirements and design components of service architecture and operability scenarios that meet standards and KPIs such as quality, cost, and caregiver expectations.
• Incorporate team standards and best practices into designs to ensure high performance and manageability.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, hardware, and processes to support service delivery.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and engineer solutions for complex service issues, minimizing disruption.
• Participate actively in disaster recovery drills.
