Job summary

aap3 is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to operate, maintain, and optimize our enterprise network across multiple sites in Melbourne, FL. You will design, implement, and troubleshoot Cisco and Palo Alto technologies, ensuring reliability and security of core services.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of hands-on experience with routing/switching and advanced networking protocols. CCNP/CCDP desirable; documentation via Visio/phpIPAM/NetBox essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• CCNP R&S, CCDP or comparable certifications preferred.
• Strong expertise with Cisco platforms (ISR, Nexus, NCS, ASR) and Palo Alto technologies.
• Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols: BGP, MPLS, OSPF, STP, VXLAN.
• Familiarity with Linux environments (Rocky 8, Fedora) and network management tools.
• Ability to document network designs using Visio, phpIPAM, NetBox and standard productivity software.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools in fast-moving environments.

• We are seeking at least 5 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
