Position :: Sr Network Engineer

Description
The Senior Network Engineer will be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident (LPR) or Foreign national who is a citizen of an Appendix A destination, for implementing, operating, troubleshooting, and continuously improving the enterprise network and connectivity services across data centers, colocation facilities, Azure cloud, WAN, campus/LAN, wireless, and security environments.
Primary Responsibilities
- The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Provide senior-level operational support and tier-3 troubleshooting for enterprise network, connectivity, security, and Azure cloud services across data centers, offices, branches, WAN, and Internet edge environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, including policies, NAT, routing, VPN, certificates, authentication, logging, and high availability.
- Design, configure, and support Azure networking, Cisco Catalyst, and Meraki switching across campus, branch, and distributed office environments.
- Implement and troubleshoot routing and switching technologies, including VLANs, VRFs, STP, HSRP, QoS, redundant paths, iBGP, eBGP, EIGRP, and TCP/IP.
- Administer DNS, DHCP, IP address management, subnetting, segmentation, and related services supporting Active Directory and cloud environments.
- Support remote-access and site-to-site VPNs, including Zscaler, as well as authentication and security integrations.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments, including experience in a senior network engineering role.
Preferred Qualifications and Soft Skills
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Meraki, Azure cloud, Zscaler, Palo Alto firewalls, and Global Protect.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, respond effectively to incidents, and complete projects on schedule.
Work Model
- Hybrid work week with on-site work in the downtown Chicago office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Some travel to satellite offices may be required for site surveys, implementations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and other site-related work
