Overview

Our client is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer to join the team. This is an add-to-staff position. They are going through acquisitions and need an extra set of hands. Remote, but travel may be required.

Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Location

Remote; must be able to travel if needed

Interview

• 3-step interview process
• 1 hour with the hiring manager and VP Tech Ops
• 1 hour with the team – white board

Responsibilities

• Provide senior network engineering support as part of the team
• Support acquisitions and integration as an additional engineer
• On-call 24x7 — alternating weekly (currently about 1 time every 4–7 weeks)

Qualifications

• 6+ years of network engineering experience
• Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama
• Knowledge of OSPF and BGP routing protocols
• VPN technologies including IPSec
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux
• Scripting experience with Bash/PowerShell/Perl/Python
• Engineering mindset
• Loves to learn technology and self-learn
• Ideally someone from a technology company
