Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Network Optimization Engineer to focus on optimization and troubleshooting in a large enterprise environment. The role involves end-to-end Cisco products, routing and switching, firewall responsibilities, and strong security focus.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise-level network engineering with end-to-end Cisco routing and switching
• Firewall design, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Security-oriented activities, including firewall management
• Telecom-related tasks and support
• Proactive troubleshooting to reduce escalations to the engineering team
• Provide optimization recommendations and solutions

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of enterprise networking experience
• Senior level network engineer (5‑7 years of experience) with strong troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in Cisco routing and switching protocols
• Experience with firewalls, CISCO security, and related protocols
• Knowledge of telecom services and wireless LAN/WAN (preferred)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• CCIE written certification highly desirable; CCMP certification a plus
• Prior experience with CIS logs, IronPort Web filtering, and Splunk is advantageous

Location

The position will be located between Monument St. Warehouse and 750 Pratt St.
