Our client is hiring for a Sr. .Net Developer!
This role requires a Public Trust Security Clearance.
Remote - must be located in the United States
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, develop, and implement enhancements and production fixes to existing systems
- Develop and implement new systems and ensure their configuration is handled correctly
- Use development best practices and appropriate patterns to develop required software solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on the individual needs of each user
- Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and ensure that technical knowledge of all phases of application systems is maintained
- Develop, maintain, and support existing web applications and analyze and convert business requirements as needed
- Perform object-oriented analysis and design, and diligent testing to ensure optimal performance of all assigned systems and system modules
- Review the work of other developers and provide constructive feedback
- Operate in a scrum-based agile development process which will involve peer reviews, source code management, documentation, testing and other well-defined development procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience delivering entire projects or processes spanning multiple technical areas
- Deep understanding of software lifecycle
- Working knowledge of Agile Development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery methodologies and tools
- Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques
- Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplined engineering team
- Experience working with the .NET framework, Entity framework and Linq
- Experience working with languages (C#)
- Experience working with basic web technologies (XML, REST, JSON)
- Hands-on experience in DevOps and CI/CD tools integrations (Bitbucket, SonarQube, Etc.)
- Experience with writing and implementing Unit Tests
- Experience working with Agile Development methodologies
- Experience with leveraging Cloud data services
- Experience working with at least one Relational Database Management System (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.)
- Experience working with a CI/CD pipeline (Azure Pipelines, Jenkins)
- Experience working with source control repositories (Git, Subversion)
