Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of professional software development and integration experience.
  • 5+ years hands-on MuleSoft across ESB, API management, or integration platforms.
  • Experience with Google Apigee API management.
  • Proficiency in Java and RESTful API design.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and ownership of complex projects.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Engineer to join the integration platform team. This is a hands-on, technical role serving as the platform owner for a MuleSoft portfolio, driving technical delivery and modernization initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to work with integration technologies and AI-powered tools in a remote environment.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions and APIs.
  • Act as platform owner, ensuring performance, scalability, and governance of the MuleSoft portfolio.

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of professional software development and integration experience.

  • Proficiency in Java and RESTful API design.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.

  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
  • Preferred: Hospitality or travel industry knowledge.
  • Preferred: Experience with AI-powered development tools and platforms.
  • Preferred: MuleSoft or integration technology certifications.
  • Preferred: Experience with modern DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred: Background in microservices architecture.
