Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking a senior MuleSoft integration developer to design and implement enterprise-scale integration solutions. You will build RESTful and GraphQL APIs, implement DataWeave mappings, and deploy applications to CloudHub.

The role requires strong experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, CI/CD practices, and collaboration within Agile teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft integration development experience.
• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform components (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Design Center, Anypoint Studio).
• Proven ability to design reusable enterprise integration flows and APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Strong DataWeave 2.0 data transformation skills and MUnit testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft-based integration solutions connecting enterprise applications and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Build data mappings and transformations using DataWeave 2.0.
• Design scalable and reusable Mule flows using connectors, routers, scopes, filters, and integration best practices.
• Configure and deploy Mule applications to CloudHub environments manually and through CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop comprehensive error handling and exception management strategies.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, reliability, and security of integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve MuleSoft integration issues.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using MUnit.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation for integration solutions and development processes.
• Collaborate within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and estimation activities.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing MuleSoft integration solutions.
• Strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, Design Center, and Anypoint Studio.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise integration flows.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and JSON.
• Extensive experience with DataWeave 2.0 for data transformation and mapping.
• Experience designing reusable Mule flows using connectors, routers, scopes, filters, and messaging patterns.
• Experience implementing robust application error handling strategies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
• Experience deploying Mule applications to CloudHub.
• Experience developing unit and integration tests using MUnit.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications such as Salesforce and cloud storage platforms such as Amazon S3.
• Experience working with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting enterprise API management and integration architecture.
