Job summary

Cornerstone Capital Bank is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to grow production, deepen referral relationships, and close loans. You will originate purchases and refinances, expand Realtor and professional networks, and manage an active pipeline with strong client service.

You’ll work with operations, processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure a seamless borrower experience while maintaining compliance and delivering results in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of consecutive mortgage loan origination experience with production success.
• Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in good standing or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Proven track record of self-generated business and referral partner development.
• Strong Realtor, builder, or professional referral network.
• Ability to manage and grow a consistent loan pipeline.
• Solid understanding of purchase transactions and ability to originate refinance business as market conditions evolve.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with commitment to exceptional customer service.

What You'll Bring

Success in this role comes from proven production, relationship-building expertise, and a passion for helping clients achieve their goals. Here's what we're looking for:

• Minimum of 2 years of consecutive, recent mortgage loan origination experience with demonstrated production success
• Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in good standing with the NMLS for applicable state(s), or the ability to obtain licensing within 60 days of hire
• Established track record of self-generated business and referral partner development
• Strong Realtor, builder, or professional referral network
• Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a consistent loan pipeline
• Strong understanding of purchase transactions with the ability to originate refinance business as market conditions evolve
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a commitment to exceptional customer service
