Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Workato integration development.
• 7+ years of overall integration, middleware, or enterprise application development experience.
• Hands-on experience integrating Workday, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Salesforce, Azure/Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP web services; API development and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Senior Workato Developer to help lead that work.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workato Developer to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise integrations across a diverse application landscape. This role is responsible for building scalable, secure, and reliable integrations between systems such as Workday, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise platforms using Workato's automation and integration capabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in integration architecture, APIs, data transformation, security, and enterprise application integrations, while serving as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Design and Development

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations using the Workato platform.
• Build and maintain Workato recipes, workflows, custom connectors, APIs, and reusable integration components.
• Develop real-time, event-driven, and batch integrations across cloud and on-premise applications.
• Implement data mapping, transformation, validation, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Enterprise Application Integrations

• Design and support integrations involving:
• Workday HCM and Financials
• Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM
• Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud
• Microsoft 365
• ServiceNow
• Banking and payroll systems
• Third-party SaaS platforms
• Develop integrations utilizing REST, SOAP, Graph APIs, webhooks, and file-based interfaces.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Workato integration development.
• 7+ years of overall integration, middleware, or enterprise application development experience.
• Hands-on experience integrating Workday, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Salesforce, Azure/Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with JSON, XML, CSV, and various data integration formats.
• Proficiency in API development and integration patterns.
• Experience with authentication protocols including OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, and Single Sign-On.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workato Certified Professional or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion REST APIs, FBDI, BIP Reports, and HCM Data Loader (HDL).
• Experience with Workday APIs, EIBs, and RaaS reports.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs, Platform Events, and integration best practices.
• Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID, Microsoft Graph API, and identity automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, manufacturing, or multi-location enterprise environments.
