Job summary

Delek US Holdings seeks a Sr Middle Office Analyst to manage portfolio risk and support the Commercial trading teams. You will analyze market conditions, generate reports, and work with cross-functional partners to maintain accurate risk insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Six (6) or more years of highly related experience in commodities, banking, energy, or refining required.
• No Licensure or Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Staff in middle office supporting complex product areas (derivatives, swaps, futures, options) and market risk.
• Partner cross-functionally with Commercial Operations, Middle Office, Accounting, Legal, and Management to deliver senior-level financial, volumetric, and risk reporting and analysis.
• Mentor junior Middle Office Analysts and foster professional development.
• Leverage Delek's ETRM system to harvest data, produce reports, and analyze changes in market conditions driving mark-to-market and exposures.
• Translate portfolio movements into components / root causes.
• Oversee portfolio and risk management and ensure accurate, timely reporting of positions and exposures.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for a combination of activities in support of the Commercial Organization managing market risk for Delek (e.g., trade support, analysis, reporting). Staff in middle office functions are likely to support complex product areas (e.g., derivative instruments including swaps, futures, options) and have experience understanding energy markets and the use of financial instruments

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Six (6) or more years Experience of highly related experience in industries such as Commodities, Banking, Energy, Refining required (Required)
• No Licensure or Certification Required.

• Oversees portfolio and risk management for Delek's Commercial trading teams, ensuring accurate and timely reporting or positions and exposures.
• Translates portfolio movements into components / decomposition of underlying root causes
• Leverages analytical tools, including Delek's ETRM system, to extract data, produce reports, and analyze changes in market conditions driving mark-to-market valuations, volumetric positions, exposure, and the decomposition of transaction-level risks across the portfolio.
• Serves as Mentor to Junior and less experienced Middle Office Analysts
• Applies critcal thinking to independently assess and validate self-performed work, ensuring accuracy and analytical rigor.
