Job summary

Ludia Consulting in Chicago seeks a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales/Project Operations Senior Consultant to translate functional concepts into technical solutions across the Dynamics suite, Azure, and Office 365. You will discuss related features and lead client engagements with strong interpersonal skills.

This role emphasizes rapid learning, clear communication, and collaborative delivery with data migration, customization, and reporting. Up to 50% travel, remote when not onsite.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Operations, Finance/Accounting or CS.
• 5+ years implementing Dynamics 365 CE (Sales & Project Operations).
• Knowledge of Lead-to-Cash and Project-to-Profit processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute client-facing project delivery with functional analysis and process optimization.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to implement data migration, integration, training, and custom development.
• Lead design reviews and gather adjustments with customers.
• Create and maintain business process documents and workflows.
• Implement functional solutions within Microsoft Dynamics CE/Sales/Project Operations to improve efficiency.
• Share expertise on Dynamics 365 CE/Sales/Project Operations through blogs or sessions.

The Role

As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales/Project Operations Senior Consultant, you will be a key contributor to client engagements by understanding and transitioning functional concepts into technical solutions using the Microsoft Dynamics suite and be comfortable discussing related aspects and features of Azure and Office365.

This position combines a strong focus on consulting abilities with an equally important emphasis on client facing interpersonal skills. To achieve success, our consultants demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, communicate ideas effectively, define and lead team efforts, and utilize flexibility and creativity to present a variety of solutions.

Essential Functions

• Execute project delivery in a client-interacting role with functional analysis, process review, and business process performance optimization.
• Collaborate with internal staff and leaders to deliver best-in-class Ludia Product Solutions for our clients.
• Collaborate with Delivery team in the implementation of data migration and translation, data integration, training and custom development and reports.
• Conduct design review sessions with the customer to demonstrate completed work and gather adjustments and changes.
• Write business processes, design documents, and workflows.
• Implement functional solutions for Microsoft Dynamics CE/ Sales and Project Operations with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency using development best practices.
• Provide community subject matter expertise on Dynamics 365 CE/Sales/ Project Operations (and related) technologies by presenting online blog posts.
• Demonstrate the ability to develop a strong working relationship with Ludia customers.

Skills & Competencies

• Undergraduate degree with focus on Information Systems, Operations management, Finance/Accounting or Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions with a focus on Dynamics 365 Sales and Project Operations
• Industry best practice knowledge of business processes, issues, and technology especially related to Lead-to-Cash and Project-to-Profit business processes
• Experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Sales and Project Operations through a complete project lifecycle from discovery through go-live and hyper-care support
• Proven ability to lead requirements workshops, perform fit-gap analysis, and design scalable D365 CE solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Automate, and business process automation
• High level understanding of Power BI – data modeling, report/KPI creation, and deployment
• Ability to travel to client sites within the United States (Up to 50% travel)

Desirable Experience

• Experience with automating business processes and customer connectors with Microsoft Power Automate and CoPilot
• Experience with process mapping and data modeling for Dual-Write crossovers
• Experience implementing Microsoft D365 Field Service or Customer Insights through a complete project lifecycle from discovery through go-live and hyper-care support
• Strong skills in Office365 related technologies (SharePoint, Teams, Yammer, etc.)
• Proven track record in adaptability, teamwork, problem solving, results orientation
• Must be able to independently handle complex problems
