RTX is seeking a Senior Manager for End User Services in a hybrid role based in Farmington, CT. The role leads a regional team, manages vendor relationships, and drives infrastructure projects to keep software and hardware current across the enterprise.

The successful candidate will have deep experience in End User Services, project management, and strong communication skills, with a track record of delivering on large, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of experience managing IT projects and support for shop floor computing.
  • 7+ years of managing an End User Services environment.

This position reports to the Associate Director, End User Services. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational, leadership, customer service, vendor management, and communication skills. This role requires proven experience leading regional field service delivery teams and overseeing the execution of enterprise-scale infrastructure projects across diverse technologies. The Senior Manager will drive operational excellence, manage strategic vendor relationships, and ensure consistent service delivery aligned with business objectives. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, network printing, end user computing technologies, and supporting shop floor computing.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, manage and execute projects to maintain software and hardware currency in the computing environment, such as technology refreshes and upgrades
  • Work with managed service providers and coordinate with the Digital teams to manage service levels, projects and performance related to relevant outsourcing agreements
  • Manage RTX driven infrastructure projects and lead the company’s participation in relevant Passport reviews and planning activities
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of experience managing IT projects and support for shop floor computing
  • 7+ years of managing an End User Services environment
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Demonstrated proficiency in IT areas of analytical thinking and innovation
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, environment
  • Demonstrated strong technical aptitude, project management, and communication skills
  • Experience and background working with large teams to define and execute IT projects
  • Demonstrated experience working with managed service delivery partners to deliver the expected business outcomes
  • Industry accreditations are Preferred (ITIL)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly-motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively lead efforts including the delivery of complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Able to independently influence and resolve conflicts with others
Work Location

This is a hybrid role, Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
