RTX in Buckley, CO is seeking a qualified Operations Specialist to monitor real-time system status and support mission-critical tasks. The role requires a TS/SCI with Poly clearance and US citizenship, with a 24/7 rotating shift schedule.

The successful candidate will perform preliminary problem evaluation, document events, and collaborate with government customers and program leadership to maintain readiness and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Active and in-scope TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsabilités

  • Monitor near real-time status of the system and apply near real-time technical problem-solving skills.
  • Perform and document preliminary evaluation of system problems; advise on design changes to improve efficiency and/or reduce costs.
  • Document and maintain operational event logs; evaluate system performance and enhance operation and data processing capabilities.
  • Work in a closed environment with frequent and direct interaction with customers and peers.
  • Complete Operations Certification Process in a rotating 24/7, 12-hour shift schedule.
  • Provide regular performance metrics and readiness updates to Government customers and program leadership.
  • Perform outlined duties on a rotating 24/7, 12-hour rotating shift schedule.

What You Will Do
  • Monitor near real-time status of the system and applying near real-time technical problem-solving skills
  • Perform and document preliminary evaluation of system problems. Advise and assist in effecting design changes to improve operational efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations
  • Document and maintain operational event logs and records. Utilize technical training and/or equivalent technical experience to evaluate system performance and enhance system operation and data processing capabilities
  • Work in a closed environment where frequent and direct interaction and collaboration with customers and peers
  • Perform work in the near real-time decision-making environment and successfully complete required Operations Certification Process
  • Provide regular performance metrics and readiness updates to Government customers and program leadership
  • Perform outlined duties on a rotating 24/7, 12-hour rotating shift schedule
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • An active and in-scope TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience working in direct support of customers and with direct and frequent customer interaction
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Ability to distinguish the difference between colors on a computer monitor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Background in 24/7 operational environments
  • Experience coordinating across government, military, and multi-contractor teams
  • Experience monitoring satellite activities in a related field

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
