SR Medical Secretary - Surgical/New Patient Registration - ( 250971 )

The Senior Medical Secretary provides administrative and secretarial support to assigned physicians/personnel in a surgical department. The Senior Medical Secretary acts as a liaison for all administrative details of a confidential nature for assigned physicians and personnel including, but not limited to, heavy coordination of patient care, conferences, projects, various document preparation, and internal/ external meetings. Coordinates and schedules appointments for new surgical patients in assigned surgical departments using pre-established criteria.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Experience
3 Years experience in a related role (Required)
General Experience using Scheduling Systems such as Epic EMR (Required)
2 Years experience in a healthcare setting (Preferred)
