Job summary

OptumCare is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a clinical team in Mesa, AZ. You will apply clinical knowledge, manage daily tasks, and coordinate with supervisors to resolve issues while ensuring patient care is efficient and safe.

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED
• Current CPR and/or BLS certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
• Completion of a Medical Assistant or Military Medic program
• 3+ years of Medical Assistant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Family Practice, Specialty, or Internal
• EMR experience - EPIC
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking
• Assisted with onboarding new staff

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18.00 to $32.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
