Over the years, we’ve built a strong reputation as a trusted partner and valuable resource to a broad range of companies, from Fortune 500 to Private Equity, in categories that include health & wellness, food & beverage, home and hardlines. We revel in the opportunity to guide our clients on their path forward, building and activating strategies that ensure success. Everything we do is driven by our unrelenting commitment to leverage our deep operational experience, unparalleled omnichannel expertise, and industry relationships to drive performance in today’s dynamic omnichannel marketplace.

Position Overview

The Senior Digital Media Specialist is a hands‑on media professional who owns small to mid‑size client accounts and drives impactful media results. In this role, you will collaborate with Digital Media Managers and Directors to implement and optimize media strategies for MPG’s eCommerce and Omnichannel clients. You will own select accounts end‑to‑end — building and executing media strategy, managing client communications, overseeing budget management and executing reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute media strategies with excellence, driving impactful results across a portfolio of small to mid‑size client accounts.
  • Drive campaign building, budget pacing, bid optimization, and keyword management.
  • Partner with Account Managers on owned assigned client accounts, ensuring media strategy aligns with their business goals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in SaaS tools such as Pacvue, leveraging them for media planning and analysis.
  • Build PPC and Display media plans for clients, including targeting strategies, budget allocation, keyword selection, and ASIN prioritization aligned with client objectives.
  • Compile and present comprehensive media reports, including trend charts, graphs, and insights, for weekly business reviews.
  • Lead media meetings with clients, presenting performance updates, and strategic recommendations.
  • Provide actionable insights based on performance data, identifying drivers, fluctuations, and next steps.
  • Own client‑facing communications (via email and/or chat), delivering clear, proactive updates and actionable next steps.
Skills & Experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in paid search, display, and/or retail media advertising.
  • Client Relationship Management and Client Strategy Development.
  • Advanced Data Analysis and Excel.
  • Strategic Media Planning with data‑driven insights.
  • Budget Management and Execution.
  • Project Management and organizational skills.
  • Problem‑Solving & Strategy.
  • Intermediate proficiency in media tools: Pacvue, SKAI, and other platforms.
  • Initial Leadership Skills — willingness to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
TEAM COMPETENCIES
  • Cross‑Vertical Collaboration: Actively works with cross‑functional teams, sharing insights and strategies to achieve common goals.
  • Accountability: Takes responsibility for individual and team outcomes, ensuring consistent performance and high standards.
  • Mentorship: Provides guidance and support to junior team members, helping them grow and improve their skills.
Why You’ll Succeed
  • You’re a strategic thinker who enjoys uncovering insights from data and translating them into business action.
  • You have a passion for retail media tools and analyzing trends to drive client performance.
  • You thrive in collaborative environments and manage multiple accounts without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • You’re driven by challenges and find satisfaction in building strategies that improve client results.
Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $70,000 – $80,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based bonuses and other compensation programs.
