Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. in the Roswell/Alpharetta area is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for hands-on design and application of aerospace and defense components and systems. This is a direct-hire, in-office role, Monday–Friday, with primary responsibilities spanning concept through production validation.

You will validate mechanical designs, support manufacturing, and lead technical activities across the product lifecycle in energetic aerospace environments.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of mechanical design and development experience.
• Strong background in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, FEA, thermal, shock, and vibration analysis.
• Experience with Aerospace, Defense, and other high-reliability applications.
• Experience with high-strength aluminum alloys and electromechanical components.
• Experience creating detailed drawings, assemblies, and BOMs.
• Understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and tolerance analysis.
• Familiarity with ISO9000 or AS9100 quality systems.
• Experience with DFMEA and root cause analysis.
• Experience or understanding of environmental testing.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.

I have a growing client in the Roswell Alpharetta GA area with an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This is a Direct Hire opportunity performed M-F in the office. This is not a remote role.

In this role you will be working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a company in the Energy and Aerospace industries with hands on involvement in the design and application of components and systems for aerospace, defense and related industries. You will be validating mechanical designs, supporting manufacturing, and leading technical activities from concept through production.
