Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. in the Roswell/Alpharetta area is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for hands-on design and application of aerospace and defense components and systems. This is a direct-hire, in-office role, Monday–Friday, with primary responsibilities spanning concept through production validation.

You will validate mechanical designs, support manufacturing, and lead technical activities across the product lifecycle in energetic aerospace environments.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of mechanical design and development experience.
• Strong background in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, FEA, thermal, shock, and vibration analysis.
• Experience with Aerospace, Defense, and other high-reliability applications.
• Experience with high-strength aluminum alloys and electromechanical components.
• Experience creating detailed drawings, assemblies, and BOMs.
• Understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and tolerance analysis.
• Familiarity with ISO9000 or AS9100 quality systems.
• Experience with DFMEA and root cause analysis.
• Experience or understanding of environmental testing.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.

• Design and validate mechanical components and systems from concept through production.
• Validate mechanical designs and support manufacturing activities.
• Lead technical activities and provide hands-on involvement in development.
• Work in the Energy and Aerospace industries with high-reliability applications.
