LOGISTICS INSIGHT CORP. is seeking a hands-on Materials Supervisor in Lake Orion, MI, to lead daily inventory, material movement, and warehouse operations supporting GM production. Qualifications

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, materials management, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience overseeing inventory, material flow, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, sequencing, and material handling processes.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily material handling, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure materials are available and delivered to support customer production schedules.
  • Lead a team of hourly associates responsible for receiving, storage, sequencing, picking, packing, and material movement.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and process compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and material flow issues.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound material movement to meet customer requirements.
  • Track operational KPIs related to inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Develop work schedules and support daily labor planning activities.
  • Provide employee coaching, training, performance management, and accountability.
  • Communicate operational updates, concerns, and production impacts to management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer service.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and inventory documentation.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Customer teams to support overall facility performance.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
