What You Will Do In This Role:
- Resolve category level risk with purchase orders, requisitions, and planned orders that are not processed to ensure that they are scheduled and expedited/de-expedited as needed.
- Support PFEP within the spend by coordinating changes of parameters MOQ, SS, LT, stock nonstock in line with buyer checklist.
- Monitor inventory turns and drive corrective actions.
- Ensure that all air freight is authorized.
- Analysis of obsolete materials.
- Report of shortages against production plan Monitoring supplier capacity.
- Lead weekly supplier calls with critical suppliers.
- Conduct supplier delivery meetings with strategic team to drive OTD improvements and LT reduction.
- Lead 8D, SCAR on poor OTD or quality issues with suppliers in conjunction with procurement department stakeholders like SQE, strategic buyer.
- Carry out coverage and future demand analysis on assigned components or suppliers.
What We Are Looking For:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, or closely related field and 5 years' experience as Material Planner, Planner Buyer, Logistics Specialist or related occupation.
- Also requires 2 years of experience with material planning process, demand forecasting and inventory management
- Dealing with international suppliers; advanced transactions and reports in SAP; lean six sigma and continuous improvement projects; advanced excel; project-based manufacturing environment; MRP system
- Supplier Quality (PPAP, Rejects, reworks), (general knowledge); Strategic Purchases (Supply, Contracts MOQ); Logistics (Receiving, Material Supply, Cycle Count) (general knowledge); and data analysis.
