Core Responsibilities

• Manage assigned suppliers and product lines to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Own the procurement process within SAP, from requisition to purchase order receipt.
• Maintain daily reports on shortages, open POs, and PReqs.
• Support risk assessments and mitigation activities.
• Ensure data accuracy in SAP through routine maintenance and monthly audits.
• Troubleshoot internal material issues such as quality problems, missing receipts, and invoicing discrepancies.
• Assess and manage critical KPIs like Safety Stocks, MOQs, and Lead Times within SAP.
• Negotiate and maintain Lean Replenishment agreements with suppliers.
• Maintain inventory levels to support manufacturing and logistics.
• Benchmark supplier costs and negotiate for optimal pricing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prevent stock-outs and support NPI rollout and phase-outs.
• Monitor SIOP cycles and off-cycle entries to anticipate inventory and production impacts.
• Analyze forecast accuracy, identify drivers of inaccuracy, and communicate estimations to management.
• Report on production, business strategies, and engineering design changes.
• Complete other assigned projects or tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of manufacturing supply chain experience (domestic and international).
• OR Associate degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Certified purchasing accreditation (CPM, CPIM) a plus.
• Six Sigma experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with SAP purchasing, Lean systems, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Macros, VBA, or SQL.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
