Position Summary: Truly Good Foods (TGF) is seeking a proactive, strategic, and hands-on Senior Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the marketing department. This role will oversee the development and execution of marketing plans and guide two direct reports—a Content Marketing Specialist and a Product Marketing Specialist—ensuring alignment with broader business goals. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager will play a key role in translating strategic vision into actionable marketing initiatives across brand, digital, product, and customer-facing channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Department Management: Manage and mentor the Content Marketing Specialist and Product Marketing Specialist, providing direction, performance feedback, and professional development. Translate high-level strategic direction from the VP of Sales & Marketing into executable marketing plans. Lead weekly marketing planning sessions and ensure strong communication and collaboration across sales, product, and customer teams.
  • Marketing Planning & Execution: Own the execution of the annual marketing calendar, including campaigns, launches, promotions, and events. Coordinate multi-channel campaigns that support customer acquisition, product awareness, and sales enablement across B2B and B2C markets. Maintain consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints.
  • Product Marketing: Partner with the Product Marketing Specialist to support new product launches, packaging updates, and trade promotions. Ensure the development of compelling sales tools, product stories, and go-to-market strategies that enable sales success.
  • Content & Digital Marketing: Oversee the content strategy and performance metrics across email, social media, website, and digital advertising. Support the Content Marketing Specialist in developing campaign assets, brand messaging, and storytelling initiatives. Ensure all digital content aligns with SEO and performance marketing best practices.
  • Channel & Trade Marketing: Develop tailored marketing materials and promotions to support growth in retail, foodservice, ecommerce, and internal channels. Collaborate with sales teams to deliver promotional plans, event support, and merchandising strategies. Facilitate linkage between HubSpot Marketing and Sales capabilities and collaborate to develop automation workflows.
  • Metrics, Budget, & Reporting: Track and report on key marketing KPIs including campaign ROI, engagement metrics, lead generation, and customer acquisition cost. Manage the marketing budget with a focus on efficiency and strategic investment. Provide regular updates to the VP of Sales & Marketing on marketing progress and opportunities.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field or relevant experience.
  • 6–8 years of progressive marketing experience, including people management.
  • Strong understanding of product marketing, content strategy, and digital campaign execution.
  • Proven ability to manage a team and cross-functional projects from concept through completion.
  • Experience working in the food & beverage, snack, or CPG industry strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, WordPress, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
