This critical role involves managing lifecycle communications, optimizing strategies across platforms, and leveraging robust project management skills to drive targeted initiatives within a dynamic logistics environment.
Schedule: FT
Job Type: Hybrid
Salary Type: Salary
Req #: 1430
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and technically adept Carrier Communications Automation Manager to bring clarity, control, and strategic oversight to all communications sent to our carrier network. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every message—whether part of a lifecycle campaign or a tactical one-off—is timely, relevant, and aligned with broader business goals. You will partner closely with Carrier Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to audit, streamline, and optimize carrier communications across multiple platforms.
What the Candidate Will Do
In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle communications for carriers, bringing visibility to 100% of outbound messaging by auditing current lifecycle communications in partnership with CRM. You’ll lead gap and overlap analysis to ensure a cohesive and non-conflicting strategy, while consolidating and controlling all entry points for mass communications. This role requires strong project management skills to deploy carrier campaigns aligned with business objectives, as well as the ability to evaluate CRM/MAP systems and recommend improvements or replacements. You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining best practices around communication system ownership, executing tactical one-off messages such as re-engagement efforts or load-level matches, and driving targeted supply initiatives by engaging net-new carriers using lead sources like Genlogs or Highway.
