Job Description

Summary: Senior Laser Manufacturing Engineer responsible for developing long-term manufacturing strategies and processes, with preferred experience in hole making and ablation technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to support development, prototype, and low-rate production hardware.
2. Understand and operate CNC equipment; experience with GF and Prima Power/Laserdyne preferred.
3. Possess extensive knowledge of laser processing, especially in cutting and hole making.
4. Coordinate with EHS representatives to ensure safety and compliance.
5. Monitor lab facilities, work with facilities teams, and lead operational improvements and 5S activities.
6. Lead team meetings on operations, quality, and safety.
7. Mentor less experienced engineers and document process improvements.
8. Develop technical plans to meet manufacturing goals.
9. Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and document technical data properly.
10. Maintain adherence to GE policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university plus at least 5 years of experience operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
