Job summary

Anritsu is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Morgan Hill, CA to develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods for parts and assemblies. The role focuses on optimizing processes, reducing costs, and ensuring design release alignment with engineering.

Responsibilities include coordinating documentation, evaluating designs, and working with suppliers to improve quality, cost, and delivery. They require 3–5 years in RF/Microwave engineering and a BSEE or higher.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics; ability to understand circuit schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic assemblies down to component level.
• Experience supporting RF/Microwave products in manufacturing or R&D environments.

Responsibilities

• Control the release and maintenance of product documentation and specifications.
• Coordinate the release of new products with design engineering.
• Evaluate existing designs and implement redesigns to improve performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Estimate manufacturing costs and advise tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines.
• This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager in Morgan Hill, CA.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to improve product quality, manufacturability, cost, and delivery performance.

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer based in Morgan Hill, CA you will have responsibility for developing, implementing, and maintaining methods and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Controlling the release and maintenance of product documentation and specifications
• Interfacing with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products
• Evaluating the designs of existing products and implementing re-design efforts to improve performance, reliability, manufacturability, and reduce cost
• Estimating manufacturing costs and making recommendation for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
• This position will be reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager based in Morgan Hill, CA
• Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to improve product quality, manufacturability, cost, and delivery performance.

Requirements :

• BSEE or higher
• A minimum of 3-5 years in the support of RF/Microwave products in an engineering role or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics, including the ability to understand circuit schematic, and trouble shoot electronic assemblies down to component level
• Demonstrated experience in being hands on and resolving challenging technical issues in a manufacturing and/or R&D environment.
• Familiar with RF microwave theory and manufacturing processes, including RF test and measurement equipment, are highly desired
