Job summary

Anritsu Company is seeking a Field Application Engineer based in the Pacific Northwest or surrounding area to support RF and microwave test and measurement products. You will demonstrate VNA, spectrum, and signal analyzers, and train customers and sales teams in theory and operation.

The role requires 4+ years in the field, a BSEE or equivalent, and willingness to travel across Northern California and Northwest U.S. You will report to the FAE Manager in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSEE or equivalent.
• At least 4 years related industry experience.
• U.S. Citizen required due to customer visits.
• Extensive RF and Microwave test & measurement background.
• Expertise with network/spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
• Experience with digital modulation and physical layer testing is a plus.

As a Field Application Engineer based in the Pacific Northwest U.S (or surrounding area) you will have responsibility for pre and post‑sales support for RF and Microwave test and measurement products.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstration of Vector Network Analyzers and associated applications
• Customer and Sales training in theory and operation of Vector Network Analyzers.
• Demonstration of Spectrum and Signal Analyzers and associated applications.
• Customer and Sales training in theory and operation of Spectrum and Signal Analyzers.
• Demonstration of Signal Generators, Power Meters, signal monitors and associated applications.
• Customer and Sales training in theory and operation of Signal Generators, Power Meters, signal monitors and associated applications.
• Pre‑sales and Post‑sales support for customer applications including on‑site and remote support.

Requirements

• Minimum BSEE or equivalent.

• Due to customer visits, the candidate must be a U.S Citizen.
• Extensive background in RF and Microwave test and measurement.
• Expertise in the use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters.
• Experience with digital modulation and physical layer test of wireless systems is a plus.
• Must be willing to travel. Territory to include Northern California and Northwest United States.

Competencies and behavior skills

• Must have good communication and presentation skills.

Salary

The annual base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $204,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Anritsu Company considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
