Job summary

Delek US Holdings seeks a Sr Manager, Reliability to lead reliability engineering and continuous improvement across our refinery and logistics assets. The role ensures safe operations, drives RCA and corrective actions, and partners with site leaders to meet safety, reliability, and cost goals.

The candidate will guide Reliability Engineers, champion reliability-centered processes, and develop leaders while delivering robust asset performance and cost efficiency in a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Two or more years of management experience required.
  • Eight or more years of experience in a related field required.
  • MLT1 and CMRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sustain and continuously improve mechanical components for equipment and tools.
  • Ensure safe, effective operations of production and support continuous improvement.
  • Manage reliability engineering projects and perform analytical verification.
  • Evaluate, test and track results of reliability interventions.
  • Initiate reporting for internal or third-party incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Prepare routine reports and memos and coordinate communications across functional groups.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for sustaining and continuously improving various mechanical components for equipment and tools. Ensures the safe, effective operations of the organization's production and supports continuous improvement. Manages reliability engineering projects. Performs analytical verification. Evaluates, tests and tracks results of reliability interventions. Initiates reporting for internal or third-party reported incidents. Creates, documents and follows up on corrective actions. Prepares routine reports and memos and coordinate communications across all necessary functional groups of the organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required) Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Two (2) or more years management experience (Required)

  • Eight (8) or more years Experience in a related field (Required)

  • No Licensure or Certification Required.

  • CMRP certification preferred

  • MLT 1 certification preferred

  • 10 years experience in industrial rotating equipment in hydrocarbon and/or corrosive environment

  • Develops working relationships with site leaders to guide teams on reliability-centered processes and investigations that identify and mitigate risks

  • SPOC between Corporate Reliability and site activities

  • Reliability Department budget owner

  • Lead for reliability related site assessments and overall assessment schedule for the site

  • Provides technical leadership in application of reliability engineering principles, methodologies, and tools

  • Creates sustained focus on root cause analysis (RCA) in problem recognition risk reduction and defect elimination

  • Evaluates progression and determines areas requiring intensified focus
