Job description

About the role and team

Leading at Uber means setting direction in motion, not waiting for perfect conditions. As a Senior Program Manager, you will be a strategic architect tasked with defining “best-in-class” for our most critical global initiatives—whether scaling world-class sales acquisition motions or establishing safe, scalable support for the future. You will sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, making time, information, and decision-making more effective across a high-stakes, fast-moving landscape.

If you are an entrepreneurial thinker who can balance shifting priorities with long‑term vision and a safety-first mindset, this is where you’ll make your mark.

Rate of Pay: $203,000 to $248,000 per year

  • Deeply understand the architecture and integration points of Uber's document verification and onboarding processes, products, and policies.
  • Advise product design and improvements with a direct impact on business value and overhaul existing policies that limit performance.
  • Standardize and unite regional operational processes for vetting identification and eligibility documents using advanced technology capabilities such as automation, machine learning, and workflow management.
  • Drive adoption of new processes and product feature rollouts, continuously measuring, analyzing, and improving implemented changes.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing operations team dedicated to identity management and fraud prevention.
  • Supervise at least 1 (one) Program Lead/ 13-1082; Project Management Specialist and Program Manager/ 13-1111; Management Analysts.
  • May telecommute.

  • Position requires:

  • Project management techniques, such as, Gantt Charts, RAPID decision-making framework, Red/Yellow/Green status updates;
  • Prioritization approaches (e.g., Return-on-Investment Analysis and Break-Even Analysis);
  • Analytical skills using proven business frameworks (SWOT analysis, balanced scorecard, benchmarking, and competitive analysis) and effective root-cause analysis;
  • Mathematical and statistical analysis, ability to translate data-driven insights into understandable visuals for senior management, and application of sophisticated statistical experimentation methods (e.g., time series evaluation, difference-in-difference method, and synthetic control method);
