Job Description
As the Sr. Manager, Product, you will provide oversight for all aspects of Product Management, including intake and prioritization of new product and product enhancement requests, drafting coverage forms, and managing the filings process. You will be responsible for developing and recommending product management and filings policies, procedures, and standards. Additionally, you will support the development and implementation of process and control improvements to ensure member growth and profitability.
Accountabilities:
- Oversee research, development, and maintenance of coverage forms.
- Ensure timely and compliant filings, and the subsequent implementation of approved forms and rates with very low error rates.
- Handle state filings objections effectively.
- Collaborate on the development of the Product Roadmap, including prioritization and scheduling.
- Coordinate communication of product and rate changes to internal staff and support external communications.
- Participate in selecting and implementing tools and systems to support product management and filings processes.
- Identify and implement process and control improvements continuously.
- Communicate process changes to internal staff.
- Support the implementation of approved initiatives.
- Serve as SME on various committees and task forces as needed.
- Ensure that enhancements to Commercial Systems supporting Product Management are implemented as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and training.
- At least 8 years of Commercial Underwriting and Product Management experience, preferably in the Non-profit or Organizational sectors.
- Minimum of 4 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Proficiency in advanced product management and team management within the commercial P&C insurance field.
- Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in the markets served.
- Strong analytical skills for data comparison and objective reporting.
- Thorough knowledge of the Commercial Property and Casualty environment.

- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely using various techniques.
- Flexibility, solutions orientation, and keen insight into strategic planning.

Compensation:
- $100,500 - $167,500 based on experience, with bonus eligibility.
- In CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, and PA: $110,700 - $184,500, plus bonus eligibility.
