About The Role
Reporting to the Controller, the Sr. Manager, Inventory Control oversees inventory management, develops tracking systems, plans for inventory issues, and leads the inventory control team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in inventory control.

Responsibilities

  1. Optimize inventory levels and accuracy through robust procedures and data analysis.
  2. Lead monthly cost accounting close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
  3. Conduct COGS variance and margin analysis, collaborating with FP&A.
  4. Oversee monthly Excess & Obsolete inventory reviews, analyze aging inventory, and book reserves.
  5. Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to manage inventory and support operational goals.
  6. Manage relationships with co-manufacturers and 3PL warehouses for inventory accuracy and compliance.
  7. Maintain and troubleshoot EDI connections for seamless data flow.
  8. Establish and manage a cycle counting program for inventory accuracy.
  9. Lead, develop, and mentor the Inventory Control team.
  10. Perform other duties as needed to support organizational success.

Qualifications

  1. 8+ years in cost and manufacturing accounting.
  2. 3+ years managing direct reports.
  3. Deep knowledge of inventory control procedures and systems.
  4. Experience in manufacturing/CPG industries.
  5. Strong technical, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to motivate and lead a team to meet objectives.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
  8. ERP experience, Netsuite preferred.

Compensation
$120,000-$130,000 base salary + bonus
