Position Overview

The Senior Vice President of Pharmacy Supply Chain is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping organizational success. The role involves collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team to set and execute strategic initiatives related to the economics, implementation, operational excellence, and quality of Synergie's pharmacy supply chain solutions. The position offers a unique opportunity to lead growth in a critical healthcare segment.

Primary Job Functions
  • Lead strategy, implementation, operations, and financial analysis of pharmacy supply chain pricing contracts for health plan clients and pharmacy benefit administrators.
  • Implement processes to manage pharmacy supply chain operations, ensuring drug contract compliance and effective communication with plan participants.
  • Collaborate across Blue Cross Blue Shield organizations to ensure operational and financial success.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and best practices to optimize performance.
  • Oversee financial and operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Build and lead a small team, fostering a culture of service and performance.
Education, Experience, and Skills

Required: Bachelor's Degree; 15 years of senior healthcare finance, underwriting, operations, or supply chain leadership experience.

Preferred: Master's Degree.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience in the prescription drug industry, project leadership, pharmacy benefits management, healthcare payer pricing, and strong leadership and analytical skills.
