Sr. Manager, Human Resources - Global - Corporate Functions

As a Sr. Manager, Human Resources supporting leaders within the Corporate Functions client group, you will be trusted to work on HR consulting and coaching (e.g., working with business leaders to solve significant people and cultural issues), provide expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment including hiring, termination, performance management, rewards, etc., partner with the business and talent management/staffing and recruiting colleagues on key talent initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, hi-potential employee development, succession planning, etc.) and unleash the full potential of their teams through execution of people strategies that support Alcon’s mission: “to help people see brilliantly” at our Fort Worth, TX location.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborate with people leaders, delivers Alcon’s core HR services and HR COE’s and ensures an optimal associate experience and support the design and roll out of corporate programs.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations at a high-level and works with local HRBPs and employment counsel as needed.
  • Drive business success by coaching and advising teams on associate experience initiatives.
  • Support with Dashboard, Recognition programs, etc.
  • Ensure timely execution of all people-related processes in the assigned business.
  • Contribute to high-quality talent bench through selection process, equitable compensation practices and adequate talent development.
  • Support diagnostic intervention and problem resolution strategies to contribute HR point of view to business issues.
  • Contribute to solving complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions.
  • Deliver on Alcon foundational principles (customer, innovation & people) to drive value creation for Alcon in the areas of people, organization and culture.
  • Foster an inclusive work environment and serve as an advocate of Alcon’s values & behaviors.
  • Use data and metrics to influence their advice to business leaders, make well-informed decisions, and drive thoughtful workforce planned reliable HR support to the business.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs.; Assoc. +11 yrs.; M.S. +4 yrs.; PhD+3 yrs.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience
