YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
CELINE is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic HR leadership and comprehensive partnership to its North American corporate office and retail network. This critical role will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of generalist HR activities, ensuring alignment with CELINE's business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture. The Senior Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing expert guidance, coaching, and support to drive employee engagement and optimize business performance across North America.
YOUR IMPACT
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters across CELINE North America, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and practices.
- Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues, including harassment claims, investigations, and conflict resolution, mitigating risk and ensuring legal compliance.
- Oversee the implementation of performance improvement plans and manage involuntary terminations, partnering with legal counsel on escalated matters.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and provincial employment and safety laws, maintaining a legally compliant and ethical work environment.
Talent Development & Management:
- Enhance and refine the onboarding process, focusing on employer branding to attract and retain top talent.
- Provide coaching and development to managers in the field and corporate office, enhancing their team leadership skills and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement workforce plans aligned with departmental strategic direction and future business needs, ensuring the organization is equipped for growth.
- Drive the development of high-potential talent through targeted programs, leveraging CELINE's internal resources and external best practices.
- Lead the Organization Management Review (OMR) process, identifying talent gaps and succession planning opportunities.
- Oversee the annual performance review process through the RISE platform, ensuring fair and equitable evaluation and development planning.
Job Responsibilities
Compensation, Benefits, & HR Administration:
- Manage HR budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans in close partnership with the Finance team, brand leaders, and HR Operations Director.
- Conduct market research to ensure employee compensation remains competitive and aligned with budget guidelines.
- Administer the annual Individual Compensation Review (ICR) process, ensuring equitable and performance-based compensation adjustments.
- Oversee headcount management and termination processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide second-level support for leave of absence requests and worker's compensation claims, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Talent Acquisition:
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to support managers at the corporate and store levels in effectively sourcing, assessing, and engaging talent.
- Provide key partnership in the compensation approval and staffing requisition processes, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and organizational needs.
- Partner with leadership to identify optimal organizational structures, proficiencies, and processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
General Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key liaison with Maison Human Resources teams in Europe and LVMH Fashion Group in North America, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure consistent communication and interpretation of HR policies and procedures, promoting transparency and understanding throughout the organization.
- Cultivate effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and LVMH resources, maximizing the value of HR services
KEYS FOR SUCCES
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience required, with a strong emphasis on employee relations, talent management, and HR business partnering.
- Comprehensive understanding of US and Canadian labor laws and demonstrated HR acumen.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, from senior leadership to retail associates.
- Ability to travel as needed to support the North American retail network.
Competencies:
- Deep understanding of labor laws for US and Canada and demonstrates strong HR sensibility and critical thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment.
- Superior organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Profile
The compensation for this position ranges from $136,000 - $155,000 (annually). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
