Grimmway Produce Group seeks a Sr. Manager HR Business Partner - Corporate Services to lead HR strategy for Commercial, Finance, IT, HR/EHS, and Legal.

You will partner with leaders to translate business goals into HR solutions and ensure compliant, efficient people programs across corporate services. This on-site role in Bakersfield requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years HR experience, with PHR/SPHR or SHRM credentials preferred.

• 7+ years HR generalist and HRBP experience.
• Experience supporting corporate functions such as Finance, IT, Legal, HR, EHS, or Commercial.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-cycle HR leadership for Corporate Services across business functions.
• Advise and consult on HR practices aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Legal and EHS teams to implement HR programs.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures and standard operating processes.
• Support travel and on-site operations for corporate services.

The HRBP builds trust and acts as an advisor and consultant for all human resource practices while implementing processes managed by the HR Centers of Excellence. What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of HR generalist and HRBP experience.
• Experience supporting corporate or professional service functions such as Finance, IT, Legal, HR, EHS, or Commercial teams.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Must have well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Must have applicable knowledge of Company policies, available HR resources, HR Standards and Expectations, HR Standard Operating Procedures, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Must have an administrative skill set that includes written and oral communication, calendar management, timeline execution, paperwork organization, and workflow prioritization.
• Ability for occasional out of state travel is required.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee and business information.
• This is an on‑site position. Due to the nature and responsibilities of the role, remote work is not available.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre‑employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.

Total Rewards: $100,000 - $130,000 / YEAR

• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
