Descripción del empleo

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Manager Financial Planning & Analysis based in the United States.

The Sr. Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across SaaS and payments business lines in a dynamic, high-growth technology environment. This strategic role provides broad exposure to executive leadership, private equity stakeholders, and cross-functional business teams. You will transform complex financial and operational data into actionable insights, helping guide business decisions, investment priorities, and long-term growth. Alongside owning core FP&A processes, you will develop executive dashboards, strengthen financial models, and deliver board-level and investor reporting. The role also emphasizes modernizing financial operations through AI-enabled tools, automation, and advanced analytics. You will serve as a trusted finance partner, building scalable processes and supporting sustainable business performance. This opportunity is fully remote for candidates who permanently reside in the United States.

Accountabilities:
  • Financial Planning and Forecasting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes. Own the annual operating plan and maintain accurate, transparent financial models following best practices for driver separation, error checks, dynamic linking, and version control.

  • Financial Performance Analysis: Monitor revenue, bookings, annual recurring revenue (ARR), churn, retention, margins, and other SaaS performance indicators. Prepare budget-versus-actual reporting, including period-over-period and year-over-year variance analysis, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Payments Financial Management: Own forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting for the payments business in partnership with Payments, Product, and Sales leadership. Analyze processing volume, net revenue, take rates, interchange and assessments (IC&A), merchant services (MS), ACH, and performance across portfolios, partners, and merchant segments.

  • Payments Economics and Profitability: Model payments pricing, processor and partner costs, and the impact of transaction volume and mix changes on profitability. Collaborate with Accounting and Operations to validate revenue and processor cost data, while providing an integrated view of SaaS and payments performance, including payments penetration across the customer base.

  • Executive and Investor Reporting: Prepare and deliver recurring financial reporting packages for executive leadership, board meetings, and private equity partners. Respond to investor requests involving growth metrics, profitability, headcount, and operational performance.

  • Dashboarding and Business Intelligence: Design, develop, and maintain dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms. Build scalable reporting solutions covering SaaS and payments metrics, sales performance, customer health, and operational KPIs.

  • Data Analytics and Automation: Use AI-enabled tools to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities across large datasets. Partner with data and systems teams to improve reporting automation, data integrity, and the efficiency of financial planning processes.

  • Cross-Functional Business Partnership: Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Payments, Operations, and HR leaders to provide financial insights and decision support.

  • Strategic Business Analysis: Evaluate the return on investment of strategic investments, hiring plans, go-to-market programs, and operational initiatives. Lead pricing analysis, compensation modeling, business case development, and ad hoc analysis for strategic projects and executive priorities.

  • Financial Operations Improvement: Recommend and implement smarter workflows using automation and AI. Establish durable financial processes, documentation, and institutional knowledge that can scale with business growth.

  • Financial Discipline and Accuracy: Maintain high standards of reporting quality, accountability, data validation, and financial governance across all planning and analysis activities.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

  • Professional Experience: At least five years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or another highly analytical business role.
