Ladders is partnering with a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech leader to hire a Sr. Manager, Data Governance for a remote role in the United States.

You will lead a team of data analysts and stewards, embedding governance standards in day-to-day processes and driving data quality, metadata management, and operational consistency. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder influence, and change management skills with a focus on measurable governance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 1+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Proven experience in data governance or data management programs.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles, including data quality and metadata management.
• Experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Demonstrated communication and change-management skills.

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Manager, Data Governance to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will lead a team responsible for strengthening data governance practices across the organization, with a focus on data quality, metadata management, and operational consistency. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to embed governance standards into day-to-day business processes. The position is well suited for a data governance leader who can influence without direct authority and drive meaningful improvements in how data is managed and used.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $122,300 – $203,800 annually
