Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Manager of Data Governance to establish and mature enterprise governance, data quality, catalog, and metadata standards. You will lead a team, partner with compliance, security, and business domains, and implement a governance operating model to enable trusted, scalable use of data.

The role requires 8+ years in data engineering with 5+ years of leadership, strong communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of work experience in data engineering.
• 5+ years of successful leadership experience through managing projects or teams.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to translate concepts for executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team responsible for enterprise data governance, data quality, metadata standards, stewardship enablement, and governance adoption.
• Develop, maintain, and operationalize enterprise data governance policies, standards, procedures, and decision rights.
• Establish and manage a data quality framework, including data quality rules, scorecards, monitoring practices, issue management, and remediation workflows.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, accountability, and escalation model across business domains and enterprise data functions.
• Lead data catalog, business glossary, metadata standards, and governance practices that improve discoverability, consistency, and reuse.
