Job Summary

***New hires are eligible for a sign on bonus***

This position is located at the Peninsula Outpatient Center (POPC) in Burlingame, CA. All Technologists must be willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic breast imaging and procedures as a CRT licensed Mammography Technologist.
• Produce ACR quality images in both diagnostic and screening exams.
• Interact with clinicians and other departments to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain quality control records and participate in equipment testing and maintenance.
• Train and interact with students and new hires as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
• Flexibility to rotate shifts and cover weekends and holidays.
• Willing to assist at any UCSF Medical Center Location.
• For Principal Mammography Technologist: minimum 5 years of Mammography experience, proof of mammography training, performed at least 200 mammograms in the last 24 months, and relevant CEUs and certifications.
• For Senior Mammography Technologist: minimum 3 years of Mammography experience, BLS CPR, proof of mammography training, performed at least 200 mammograms in the last 24 months, and relevant CEUs and certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent work experience in an acute care setting.
• ARRT (R) (M), breast ultrasound experience, CRT Fluoroscopy License.

License/Certification:

• CRT (M) Mammography Certification.
• CRT (R) Radiologic Technologist Certification.
• BLS CPR Certification.
