Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Santee, CA to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on blending equipment, packaging lines, and building systems. You will help maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, reading schematics, and following technical manuals.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret schematics and manuals.
• 2–5 years in industrial maintenance preferred.

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on blending equipment, packaging lines, and general building systems. This role ensures equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports safe and efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on blending equipment, packaging lines, and general building systems.
• Ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime to support safe and efficient plant operations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for accurate maintenance processes.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in maintenance techniques and machinery operations.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repair skills.
• Ability to conduct preventive maintenance effectively.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santee, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
