Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to service CNC and PLC equipment on a first-shift basis. This permanent, full-time role requires hands-on board-level diagnostics on Siemens, Fanuc, and Allen-Bradley systems and a proactive approach to maintenance to maximize uptime.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and preventive-maintain critical machinery, document repairs in CMMS, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and production.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting Siemens, Fanuc, and Allen-Bradley controls, including board-level diagnostics.
• Reading PLC ladder logic and associated electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Willingness to work overtime as required and document work in CMMS.

Opportunity Summary

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC and PLC-controlled automated machinery to keep production-critical equipment running.
• Diagnose faults on Siemens, Fanuc, and Allen-Bradley controllers down to the board and component level, using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic test equipment.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring failures, working with engineering, quality, and production teams.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on critical equipment while following all OSHA and EHS policies.
• Record repairs and modifications in the CMMS, suggest better work methods, and help train other employees.

Qualifications

Required

• Technical diploma or associate's degree in Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting Siemens, Fanuc, and Allen-Bradley controls, including board-level diagnostics and reading PLC ladder logic along with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, CMMS data entry), the ability to write routine reports, and availability to work overtime as required.

• Fanuc certification
• Siemens certification
• AS100
• Training on Mori Seiki, Makino, Cincinnati Milacron, OKK, SNK, or Kuraki machines
• Experience analyzing, rebuilding, and repairing NC machinery
