Job summary

Intepros is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to support legacy application modernization. The role emphasizes COBOL development, CICS, DB2, MQ, and batch processing on IBM z/OS.

This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite per week and offers work from New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA, collaborating with cross-functional teams to migrate VSAM data to relational databases and enable modernization.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, MQ, VSAM and batch processing.
• Experience in mainframe modernization or migration projects.
• Understanding of legacy dependencies and data migration to relational databases.
• Familiarity with distributed technologies (Java, Python, Oracle or similar).
