Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Sr. Machinery Mechanic in Orange, CA to maintain and repair industrial machinery, perform diagnostics, and lead preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.

You will work autonomously with limited supervision, document findings, and collaborate with production teams while mentoring junior mechanics and upholding safety procedures. The role also requires reading technical manuals and schematics, applying safety standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in

Qualifications

• Vocational training or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills essential.

This role performs complex diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs, ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency. This job profile is intended for experienced support-level staff that generally works autonomously and only requires closer supervision in non-routine situations.This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large, Division / Extra Large organization.
