Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist III to support operational excellence across the supply chain network. You will manage complex projects, optimize inventory, analyze data to improve performance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

Ideal candidates hold an advanced degree with several years in supply chain or logistics, and have ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), plus skills in Power BI, Excel, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
• Preferred fields of study: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent preferred.
• Six Sigma/Lean certification is a plus.
• Strong expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced planning tools
• Advanced proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, SQL)
• Proven experience managing cross-functional improvement initiatives and projects
• Experience with demand planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain analytics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Excellence in written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
• Experience in regulated industries (pharmaceutical, medical device) preferred
• Experience implementing process improvement methodologies
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining KPI dashboards and metrics
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to build consensus and collaborate with stakeholders
