Responsibilities include:
- Selling loan products offered by NewRez
- Contacting prospective clients to develop and maintain referral sources
- Meeting with prospective clients outside the office
- Making in-person calls on real estate agents, financial advisors, and other referral sources
- Engaging in marketing and promotional activities
- Meeting monthly personal production goals
- Taking mortgage loan applications and preparing proposals
- Determining clients' needs and offering appropriate products
- Originate loans that comply with program guidelines
- Providing excellent customer service, including quick, professional responses and timely processing
- Analyzing and providing insights on credit reports, income verification, appraisals, lien searches, etc.
- Assisting applicants and resolving issues from application to settlement
- Staying informed of industry trends
- Attending meetings, training, and courses
- Maintaining compliance with all industry-specific regulations and company policies
Principal Customers:
- Internal: Underwriting, Processing, Closing, Quality Assurance, Vendor Coordination, Secondary Marketing
- External: Borrowers
Qualifications:
- Must qualify for and obtain state licensure where NewRez operates
- Minimum 1 year mortgage origination experience
- Preferably a 2-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Proven sales skills and leadership abilities
