Job summary

Lendmark Financial Services, LLC. is seeking a Senior Loan Consultant to support the Branch Manager by overseeing branch operations and ensuring staff perform duties with trust, service, security and satisfaction for customers and staff.

You will help manage staff to meet goals related to profitability, lending, and customer service while promoting products and maintaining strong community relationships. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years in consumer finance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years consumer finance or related experience.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with lending software, Windows, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staff management to meet goals and branch profitability.
• Make loan decisions up to limits; process and close consumer loans; collect delinquent accounts.
• Assist branch manager with community business development.
• Sell products and services to meet sales goals.
• Assist customers with solutions and monitor satisfaction.
• Support hiring, training, and performance reviews as needed.
• Ensure high quality customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

General Summary

The role of Sr. Loan Consultant is to support the Branch Manager by overseeing the efficient operation of the branch and ensuring all operational functions are completely and properly performed by the staff while conveying a feeling of trust, service, security and satisfaction to customers and staff.

Major Duties / Responsibilities

• Assist with the management and motivation of the staff to meet goals and objectives relating to branch profitability, volume, lending, credit quality, collections and expense.
• Make loan decisions up to established lending limits or recommend loan decisions; process consumer loans; close consumer loans; collect accounts in varying stages of delinquency.
• Assist branch manager with business development relationships within the community.
• Sell products and services to meet sales goals.
• Assist customers with the implementation of solutions and monitor overall customer satisfaction.
• Assist branch manager with matters regarding hiring, staffing, training, performance reviews and terminations as applicable.
• Ensure a high quality of customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution
• 5 plus years consumer finance or related experience
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient working knowledge of industry or related industry lending software, Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word Applications

Preferred / Desired Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree
• Bilingual, Spanish/English

Compensation

The salary range for this position is competitive based on the job duties as well as the specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience of the selected candidate. This position is eligible for Quarterly Incentive compensation based on individual and company performance guidelines.
