Job summary

OBE is seeking a Manufacturing/Crate Preparation Associate to support the fabrication of wooden crates, load windows, and prepare shipments for distribution. You will ensure safe packaging and accurate shipping documents while assisting with trailer loading when needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, basic computer literacy, and adherence to PPE requirements, with opportunities for growth in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization under time constraints.
• Effective communication with peers and management.
• Willingness to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Previous manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate wooden crates to ship products and perform small jobs and order prep.
• Load windows and accessories for shipment.
• Package products safely within crates to prevent damage.
• Complete and verify shipping documents.
• Assist in loading trailers after crating duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you get to do

• Responsible for fabrication of wooden crates to ship, job clean ups, small jobs parts and orders
• Loads windows and accessories
• Ensure that product is packaged safely within the crate to minimize possibility of damage
• Ensure all shipping documents are completed and accurate
• Assist in loading trailers when crating duties are complete
• Other duties as assigned
