Overview

Role focusing on IBM LSF cluster operations for high-throughput HPC workloads and administration of Linux-based infrastructure supporting semiconductor and HPC workloads.

Role Summary

• Lead the administration, optimization, and automation of Linux-based infrastructure supporting semiconductor and HPC workloads. Focus on IBM LSF cluster operations for high-throughput HPC workloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Linux services: DNS, NIS, LDAP, Altair Accelerator, IBM LSF.
• Perform kernel-level debugging, patching, and performance tuning.
• Automate system tasks using Ansible, Python, and shell scripting.
• Maintain secure environments aligned with CISSP best practices.
• Collaborate with cloud and storage teams for hybrid deployments.
• Document procedures and maintain version control of installed software.
• Advanced performance tuning and troubleshooting for IBM LSF; mentor junior admins; automate workflows end-to-end; collaborate with cloud and storage teams; maintain compliance and documentation.

Qualifications & Skillset

• 7+ years of Linux systems engineering experience.
• RHCSA or RHCE certification.
• Experience with HPC clusters, job schedulers, and hybrid cloud (Azure).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Deep expertise in IBM LSF; 8+ years Linux/HPC; RHCE; advanced Python/Ansible; Azure hybrid experience.
