We are seeking experienced individual life underwriters to join our team. You will work with a supportive group that encourages professional development and helps you achieve your career goals.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Proven competency in all tasks expected of Underwriters and Intermediate Underwriters.
• Influence and collaborate effectively with team members and peer groups.
• Demonstrate initiative in daily tasks and assist the team proactively.
• Maintain good organization and understand your role within the team and organization.
• Question established practices professionally and seek process improvements.
• Lead and execute department or functional projects when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of life or health underwriting experience.
• Proficiency in AWD or similar systems, MS Office, risk assessment, and platform skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two LOMA classes, working toward FLMI designation.
• Completion of AALU Certification and working toward FALU.
• Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, possibly remotely, with a virtual team.

Compensation

Estimated salary range: $73,000 - $102,000, with potential for annual bonus of 10%. Salary may vary based on qualifications and location.
