Seeking a Senior Stop Loss Underwriter to evaluate and price new business, analyze large claims, and develop client-focused solutions. Collaborate with sales, clinical teams, and partners to ensure profitability and strategic alignment. Requires 5+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and price new stop-loss business, including specific and aggregate coverage.
• Analyze proposal requests, census data, large claims, and benefit specifications to assess risk.
• Develop and present pricing packages that align with underwriting guidelines and profitability goals.
• Collaborate with sales and clinical teams to communicate rating results and support business development.
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers, TPAs, and internal partners to ensure seamless execution.
• Operate within established underwriting guidelines and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of stop loss underwriting experience.
